Buyback Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you get a price from a shop's buyback calculator, lock an offer, or sell a device to the shop. In these terms, "the shop" means the shop that sent you to this page.
1. Estimates
The price the calculator shows is an estimate based on the model, storage, lock status and condition you selected. The final price is set by the shop after it inspects the device in person.
2. Locked offers
If you lock an offer by email, the shop will honor that price until the expiry date in your offer email, as long as the device matches what you selected. After that date the offer expires and you can get a new quote. One offer code covers one device.
3. Inspection
The shop checks the device's model, storage, lock status, condition, battery health and functions. If the device does not match what you selected, the shop may offer a different price or decline to buy it. You are free to decline a revised offer and keep your device.
4. Ownership
By selling a device you confirm that you are its legal owner or are authorized by the owner to sell it, that it is not lost or stolen, and that it is not under a payment plan, lease or financing balance unless you have told the shop and it has agreed to buy it anyway. The shop may check the device's IMEI or serial number and may refuse a device that is reported lost, stolen or blocked.
5. Accounts, locks and your data
Before the sale, turn off Find My or Activation Lock, sign out of your iCloud or Google account, and remove any passcode. The shop may refuse a device that is still locked to an account. Back up and erase your data before you come in. The shop is not responsible for data left on a device after the sale.
6. Identification
The shop may ask for a valid government issued photo ID and may record your name, ID details and the device's identifiers where local law requires it.
7. Payment
The shop pays at the time of sale, using a payment method it offers at the counter. Once you accept payment, the sale is final.
8. Refusal
The shop may decline any device or cancel any offer for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud.
9. Who you are dealing with
Your sale is between you and the shop. Buyback Builder provides the calculator software the shop uses and is not a party to the sale.
For shops: this is a plain default template. Review it against the laws where you operate. To use your own terms instead, add your terms page link in your shop settings. Buyback Builder
